It has been an exciting few days! Yesterday I mowed 2 food plots at the home farm. This one is right behind my house. I’m debating whether to leave the clover or turn in under and plant a cereal grain/brassica mix Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Also mowed my plot on the west end of the farm. This one will be going into Radishes in another month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Also checked a bunch of cameras...and lets just say it was epic. My top 3 deer are all doing great and ahead of last year in terms of growth! I have never been more excited for a deer season in my life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mr Clean, my number 3 buck, is 5 this year. He is looking identical to last year, Just bigger! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Beautiful deer, That kind of growth in late june is crazy! How big do you think he will be this year?
Here are some comparison pics from this time last year, and how he finished up. Top is 2017, bottom 2018...taken 1 day apart Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here is an up and comer buck behind the house I call Fingers. He is surprising me this year as a 3 year old. Last year he was a smaller than average 2 year old. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Comparison pics from same dates last year and how he finished out Same date 2017 left, 2018 right. It amazes me what these Iowa deer do when you let them get older Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Had another old buck I have tons of history with show back up on the home farm. Trident...this is the 3rd year in a row I have had him on camera. No telling how old he is. Its a shame it appears he will never grow out of his antler deformity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here he is in 2016 And in 2017 I suspect he will look much the same this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Trail Camera Fairy visited me today. I’m beyond excited now. Believe it or not, all of these except 1 or two are to help me figure out 2 specific bucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I mind as well join in since every body is posting trail cam pics! This is from my 5 acre block of timber in NE Oklahoma. I had only baited for about 1 1/2 months on this property because my cousin said he was going to go poach my deer. These are the only bucks that I have on my computer. I'll post more from my phone.
pic 1,2 & 7 is a buck I named captain kirk. I haven't named the buck in pic 3 & 5. on the right in pic 4 is Mr. Crab because of the right side and he's also in pic 6 by his self. I'm hoping they stick around through out the summer. I've also got a 150 acre property that has alot of deer on it but I haven't checked the only cam I have out there for a couple months now.
