Was out of town all week for work. Managed to put up a few cameras on home farm this weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just checked 3 cams on the home farm. Too muddy to get to the rest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wellll....Im excited to announce Mr Clean is back. He was 160s Clean 10 pt last year as a 4 year old. Im betting he will be a booner typical. Likely will be my #3 target buck. My plan is to go after him during the rut. I almost killed him on November 8th last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hopefully this set produces some big bucks before the end of summer, but every picture this camera takes is gold. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey I'm gonna be down your way next month. I'll be in Parsons, KS. Obviously to scope out your deer herd and smuggle a few back to Iowa
That should be easy enough, I have them tame enough to eat out of your hand and they are house trained. They do get pissy if there's no TV in the trailer though.
Awesome young buck right behind my house. Pretty sure I recognize him from last year but not positive yet. Gonna be a great 3 year old Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hmmm, must be....too bad all 3 states I hunt ban it. Which is probably why I'm lucky to see one 140" deer on the hoof all season. Much less pass one up.
Got photo confirmation my #1 buck is alive and well! I want that critter bad. Now the strategy starts...I will be putting somewhere between 8-12 cameras in about an 80 acre area to try to figure out how to kill this deer.
I dunno, you're the big buck killer between the two of us but for some reason I cringe at the thought of getting that aggressive with him.
I guess some background info would be helpful. This property is wide open cattle pasture. No timber to speak of. There are lanes and roads all over the property the farmer uses daily. 90% of my cameras I can drive right up to in the middle of the pasture. The few that will be in sensitive areas will be cell cams. I already have one cell cam out. I know the deer's personality too...sounds weird...but I do. He beds in the cow pasture some days, and just off of it in a neighbors creek bottom other days. My cams are set up on fence crossing catching him going between the 2. He isn't phased by the farmer driving right past where he beds every day. But he doesn't like the cows...he shifts beds when the cattle are rotated into the section where he likes to bed.
