Well… Sort of. It has but not as much as I thought. I was approached by someone from out of state about managing a potential 800 acre lease in Iowa in exchange for being able to hunt it for free. That deal fell through as there were a couple of outfitters involved and ultimately ended up driving up the price to an ungodly high amount. But the good news is that same individual has a 1000 acre lease in south central Kansas and 600 acres in northern Missouri that I have now gained access to. So for that I am super excited Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry I have been mia for a little while. My wife and I had a daughter on 4/2. I’ve already been explaining the ins and outs of killing big deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I also signed a long term lease on a new farm. Definitely the biggest undertaking I have taken on. 1008 acres. I can’t wait to get started on this one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Put out my most important mineral site of the year yesterday...maybe ever. Ground zero where my #1 buck lives. He will be 4 this year and a mega giant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Also walked a new 80 acre tract of solid timber for the first time. Littered with deer sign. Can’t wait to see what lives there. I was most excited about this though. Made a deal with owner and got a new project to work on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, looks like a project. Allis Chalmers? Good luck with that. Looks like it has fiberglass boxes, wear gloves and a mask at least until you get them coated with some sort of sealer. Don't touch them bare skinned unless you want a load of tiny clear stickers.
Yup it's an Allis. It was free so I figured it was worth a shot haha. Gear chains are pretty rusty, will have to replace those. Hoses are all dry rotted. haven't looked at it much beyond that.
Some of those old flat type chains have to rust a lot to not be usable. It's worth probably a couple grand in workable condition.
