Well FWIW I am married. My wife is very supportive of my obsession. No way I could devote as much time (or $) to it if she wasn't behind me.

My wife is supportive also but. Really likes family time but I have played football for the last 15years take up a lot of time and missing things. So I'm happy right now doing it when I can. But Teddy my 2 year old likes checking cameras with me so she will get double trouble when he wants to start going

Gotcha. Looking at it now, I thought evercalm was the brand. Evercalm is the scent!

As for this lease, I’d be your huckleberry! Hahaha! Oh the dilemma of deciding which farm of gigantic bucks to go after. You are very fortunate & as others have said, this is the reason I follow your thread. ;)

Monday's hunt...saw 12. Half were bucks. I passed Ribcage...again, at 40 yds this time. I really really hope that deer lives. He will be a dead deer next year if he doesn't change his core area.

Last night I took a friend and his daughter to different farm. I don't have a buck tag I can use there so I put them in a haybale blind and I sat in a stand 500 yds away just to observe the deer movement. I ended up seeing 25 or so. I had one nice 150" 4 year old 9 point come in and start sparring with 3 other 2 year old bucks for 30 minutes. It kept going on and on after dark; I could hear their antlers smacking together. I had a field full of deer in front of me and was trapped in my tree. I finally devised a plan to slip down the tree, crawl under the cattle fence, and walk way out around the field out of sight. basically turned a 1/4 mile walk into a 1 1/4 mile walk. I did it, and didn't blow a single deer, so that was good. Crazy thing happened though. While walking out, I wasn't using a light intentionally so I didn't draw any attention. I was taking a route I had never walked before through a gully in a cow pasture. A tree branch snagged my bow quiver and snapped the bracket off. My quiver hit the ground. I was ticked! So I had to fish out my flashlight. When I turned it on to pick up my quiver, I saw GIANT antler laying on the ground 5 feet away! I instantly knew what deer it was. I found the other side back in March. it is a huge 8 pointer I call "Him." I found the other side only maybe 60-70 yds away. The side I found last night scores 75" as a 4 pt. Very cool to find...and in the DARK! I just wish the friggin squirrels hadn't got to it so bad.

Hunted last night. Passed Ribcage for the 4th straight hunt. Im building some serious history with this deer. He chomped in radishes for 30 minutes within 25 yards. It was pretty cool watching him pull the bulbs and crunch them up.

Saw the first buck of the year checking does last night too. A 2 year old was pushing does in and out of the big alfalfa field behind me.

Also had another one of my shooters show up. I call him Doublewide. No pics of him since August, and he showed up in my Radish plot.

Yeah. I need something positive. Rope I used to lower my bow came unhooked last night & down it went. Archery shop doesn’t open till 11& lower limb took a nick. My vacation may be a bust & we just started seeing bucks on the move.

    Sorry Ive been super busy.

The biggest problem I have right now is there are mature bucks moving in daylight on every farm I have except at my house...and of course that’s the only place my tag is good for. All the mature bucks have switched to nocturnal, and some have dissapeared here at home.
