Since I only bowhunt I would only be able to hunt every 3 or 4 years. Going in on a lease doesn’t seem like a good idea. Can you convince me otherwise?

I have friends that only pay for years they draw tags. In years they don’t their spots get filled with someone else. I have a couple other friends who pay to lease every year, and when they don’t draw they find someone to send up in their place so they recoup their costs in other years. Works pretty well for us.

That sounds like an outfitter. “Only pay the years they draw”. Maybe I’ll give you a call when I draw a tag. Would I be able to hunt the entire season or just a certain week? How much?

Lol. I have no desire to be an outfitter. Those guys never get to hunt themselves. I don’t put people up or feed them either. I just have access to good farms. Send me a pm and we can chat more if you are interested

Well my feed stations are paying off.

Went to pull a bunch of cameras I haven’t checked since late December. I walked over a hill and 20-25 deer spooked off my alfalfa bales...at 1:15 in the afternoon . I walked over and BAM! Big 4 point laying 10 feet from the alfalfa

Then I came home and walked behind the house to take more alfalfa and corn, and change batteries in my cameras. Had another surprise laying right in the alfalfa

Ha thanks, I think I've only posted a couple memes but I have to admit, every time the same few people jump on Booner's posts or anyone that puts in a lot of time and effort to share with others I feel the same way as that meme. I'm as sarcastic as they come so any chance to poke fun I'm gonna poke :)

How you coming with pressing charges of hunter harassment against the neighbor? Is that going to stick?

I don't even want/need to kill a big deer like you've got, i'd just love to have shed hunting hills like that!

Picked up another on the walk back to the truck. This one had to have dropped in December. Wouldn’t have been anything left if I didn’t walk this until March

CSHIRK "dislikes" this? You do understand that he had an issue with a neighbor and took video and pressed hunter harassment charges against him right? I am just curious to see how that plays out since the neighbor was on his own land. I'm wondering how much slack the law will cut him for acting up when he was on his own property. Not sure what there is to "dislike" about that. My guess is that the charges will not stick, but wondering if the IADNR will prove me wrong. That's all. So, care to explain your frustration with my question?

Booner care to answer the question? What is the status of the case?

Sorry Sota, I hope that keeps you in the lead.

By the way, how did you see my post? Can't you figure out the "ignore" feature?

It works great for those times when the truth might make you a bit uncomfortable.

No Fletch, you are not interested in how it turned out.
You're just being a pot stirring dink.
He's apparently ignoring you ( as would I ) so now just leave it be:deadhorse:

You could not be more wrong, AGAIN. You continue to prove yourself ignorant on what I think, or know. Please just keep the stupid remarks to yourself to save yourself some embarrassment.

I am very interested to see how the harassment case goes. I have seen some similar that never made it to court. I think our state is weak on prosecuting these cases and I assume they will let this one slide also. But, it would be interesting to know if having the video proof will be the ace in the hole that is needed to make this one stick. Video can be pretty damning.

Your pattern of trying to sound smart and ending up sounding like a fool is quite comical. But, getting a bit predictable. Just put me on ignore as the other fanboi's have done please.

So Booner, how goes the case of hunter harassment? Pending? Dropped?
