I am used to hunting in Florida where i have shooting lanes cut, or corn. Im in school in TN now and have access to hunt thousands of acres, however it is only woods, and you cant use corn. I need to get better and learn more about scouting, I got close many of times this season and would have them just outside of range. Does anyone have any books or videos about scouting they would recommend?
i learn more just browsing this site than i ever have from a book.... look for Gri22zly's post on topography
Books or video? How about the Internet! Try starting here, there's some good info that will get you started and then you can ask some more specific questions from there - http://www.bowhunting.com/publisher/1/bowhunting-knowledge
Hunting Hill Country Bucks DVD. Check it out @ huntingbeast.com in their store. You can pick it up for $10 or so. Bowhunting Pressured Whitetails- Eberhart As already stated this gri22ly topohunting in the whitetail section of this forums. Lots of good info on this site and helpful folks as well. The rest will require burning boot leather scouting and time in the stand. Enjoy
