    I spent the night looking for the official letter, but the results came back that he was only 1.5 yrs old. I never captured a trail cam video or pic of this buck so I don't have any pics on his feet. My thought before having him aged was that he carried a 2.5 yr old rack on a 3.5 yr old body (was also looking for another pic that better compared us as I was around 200# at 6' at ths time of this pic). This was the size of most of the bucks on the property that I killed. I have one that I killed in '07 that is very similiar to this buck that I know was 3.5 based off of the 35mm trail cam pics I captured. Thanks for playing and you each had good answers with even better justification!

    That's my opinion too Jarod! The reason I had him aged was cause the DNR teeth aged him also at 1.5 based on the wear of his teeth.

    I missed the game as I've been working a lot. Based on the picture I would have guessed 2.5 but honestly i'm not surprised it was aged at only a 1.5. He has a short snout and a very small tipped nose. He has a nice typical 8pt rack but not much mass as well. I think too many people like to age deer higher than what they really are. Here in Wisconsin, the average life is only a 1.5 because if they don't kill it then the next guy will especially on public land. This is a buck that is only a 1.5 yr old but has a 10pt frame. Surprisingly, a lot of people would say he is a 2.5 yr old if it wasn't a clear picture of his smaller body frame. I'm gonna have a hard time not shooting him if I ever see him. EK000230.jpg Either way, all deer are trophys :)

    This is what a 1.5 looks like where I hunt....about the same body size as the avg doe also. Rack is exceptional on this guy, 90% are spike or fork horns.

    Well guys, yesterday was my last camera check till the season. Here are a couple of the better ones i'll be after. The woods I hunt is huge and especially during the rut we always get a few new ones to show up.

    The 4th pic is the biggest one i've got so far, you have to zoom in to get a good look at him but hes a 10pt I think.

    Very Nice Bucks Kurve! I just did a camera check today...and FINALLY, a Bruiser! I've been getting alot of pics of a young 8 point I named Tall Boy. I have been looking for a reason to NOT kill Tall Boy because he is young, and has some great potential I think for next year. And in the tail end of a video of TB, I caught a glimpse of a bruiser following him! And in the next video you get a good shot of the bruiser by himself! Now if I can get closer to their bedding area so I can crack at em before sun down, it will be on boys! Links to my new videos;

    Got some other cool vids I am uploading too, some does, some turkeys etc....16 DAYS AND COUNTING Bone Heads!

    Ok, so alot of the teams have their own team Avatars or logos if you will. No one has talked about it, so I took the liberty. If ya hate it, let me know I will cook up something else. Think it would be cool for everyone to use it for the season! Thoughts?
