This pic is from two years ago as a 4yo...seen him twice last year but never got a pic or good shot. One of his sheds was picked up by a lady this spring. This will be the second year Ive been chasing this buck and he has made it to the #1 slot, lol.

This is "kicker"...not a very good pic...But at 2yo and then at 4yo last year. Since he hits 5yo this year, he will get some special attention also, lol.

Got some pics off the time lapse...not the greatest cause they were far away. But it let me know which direction they were heading. Adjusted the cam so hopefully get more intel over the next week.

I suck at ageing deer at 3+...usually end up under ageing them. That's why I like to only hunt buck's I have history with...so I know for sure, lol.

I have an buck aging exam for y'all later when I get home. Got a buck in SW WI in '13 that I had the buck aged. Sent in the jaw. I was surprised by the age of the buck. Will post pic later today and have everyone throw out their guesses.

That sounds like fun...I would be lost in SW WI, lol. Can't even imagine a 2yo going 150+...but it's actually pretty common up there.

That's why I under age here...just wishful thinking, lol. It's rare for any buck regardless of age to hit the 150 gross mark...but I want all buck's 140 or less to be no more than 3yo. But in reality, they usually top out in the upper 130's to lower 140's no matter how old you let them get.

I hunted the rolling hills/bluffs of SW WI on a couple farms for 14 years. I only saw 2 bucks that were 150" or above with my eyes. I did have numerous trail cam pics each summer, but they would move onto other properties by fall. Didn't help that the landowners kids were out often on their quads/gator, shooting guns and having paint gun wars in the woods once it cooled down in the late summer/early fall.

This is the buck I was talking about earlier regarding guessing the age. He was shot 10/26/2013. The smaller buck in the background was shotby my buddy about 10 min before I shot this guy at 43 yds. This was the last day we were allowed to hunt on this property per the landowners (family) as they wanted the property for the WI gun season that was still over 3 weeks away. Funny thing is that no one in the family got a deer on this property during the 9 day gun season!!! Oh yeah, this buck tested positive for CWD by the way. Well, how old do you think he was when he took this dirt nap?

Judging him by my deer..the frame looks like a nice 2yo, but with a lot more mass then what I see here...or a small 3yo.

He has the Roman nose, gray or white under his eyes, his coloration...I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say at least 6, on the downside of his antler growth plus the cwd

I'm pretty sure its older than 3 1/2, but I have a hard time judging when its not standing up. I do better when I can see the slope of the back and the belly sag. I dont think its a 6yo, but maybe 5 by the rack.

His face tells me he is an older buck, I'm going to say 5 as well. Just a shot in the dark though.
