I am sick of them also, but you have to hand it to them, they know how to market. I only wish that I could think up a business plan like that. Still trying to figure out how I can live the dream...

Well as sick as you are about it they will continue to make it as long as people are still purchasing the products and it sure seems that the average person doesn't mind spending extra money for the exact same item but the only difference is the logo. Eventually like with anything it will fade away the only problem is something new will come out to replace it and the cycle will start all over again!

I have a buddy that only buys bone collector crap...we all try to make a little fun of him. I honestly would never buy something that says "bone collector" on it. It's like saying I do this because I collect antlers. Nah man my reasonings are far deeper and more meaningful than this.

It's the "American Dream" come true and I'm glad for them. That being said, I don't have anything with the Bone Collector logo on it, yet anyways

Exactly. If we stop buying, they will stop selling. I personally don't own anything that says Bone Collector provider brotherhood whatever.

I always take issue with companies putting their name all over their product. Unless their going to pay me, I'm not going to advertise their name on something I bought. So many companies do that now.

And I did just pass on a hunting jacket and pants because it had bone collector on it.

Personally I could care less about the logo or anything Bone Collector logo on it but my girlfriend loves the logo. She likes it enough that it has gotten her interested in archery so for that reason I will purchase her some stuff. I know which items aren't to overpriced because of the logo but if the markup is way to high she isn't getting it!

Not sure what the big deal is?

If you don't want something that says "bone collector" on it...don't buy it

There certainly is no shortage of options out there in hunting products to choose from.

I think we can all understand what he's saying. I agree with you, however, and I don't buy anything overpriced due to a name (unless it actually has a benefit).

This type of stuff happens in everything though. It is not limited to hunting. Food, for example. In my home town they make cake mix, etc for a well known company by the name of pilsbury. Now, they take that exact same cake mix, and put it their own box, and it's $1 cheaper.

People buy brands, even when those brands are marketed under a different banner for less. Do you buy Tylenol, or acetaminophen? Advil or Ibuprofen? Branding is everywhere. Avoid it, and you'll be the wiser for it.

Really not any different than people shelling out big coin for anything with Air Jordan logo on it.

People are using a name to sell a product, and at a higher profit? What is this world coming to?

Next thing you know you, companies are going to start using celebrities and athletes in commercials, to promote their product.
