It'll be yet another year of two SEC teams deserving the championship game, one getting it, and pummeling _______ opponent.

I can't WAIT for FLA and AL to square off. I think Florida is the better team, but for some reason I am thinking AL is going to win this year. Odd way of thinking huh? :D

on common opponents Bama has scored way more points and allowed less... I don't see how FL is better in that regard... the LSU game will be the tell all on bama though... if they stomp LSU it'll be hard to give FL the nod and they had a tough time with the tigers...

But Florida had to play LSU at night in Baton Rouge.

    Bama gets LSU at Bama.

    This is a big difference.

I don't even really care about common opponent performances like most others do, granted I am not a huge football junkie either. Florida won the National Title last year, only lost ONE game to Ole Miss by 1 point, and haven't lost since then this year. They are the defending national champs (not lucky champs, they dominated last year) that lost barely anyone off the roster. To claim ANY team is better can only be done by fans of the other teams, as there is nothing to base it off of.

How can a team win the national title, not loose since and somehow be overtaken as the best team?

One thing is for sure, it SHOULD be a great battle. I just hope one or the other doesn't jump out too far in the beginning to be able to determine the game early, I want it to come down to the wire.

Tim Tebow might be the best QB i've ever seen in college football, has never said a cross word to anyone, is apparently a saint in all aspects of life...and yet I can't stand him! I about lost it jumping up and down when he was rocked in the commonwealth stadium. It softened the blow by the pummeling they took on the scoreboard! :D

UF had no trouble at all with LSU. If you watched the game, granted the final score was 13-3, it was obvious Florida dominated the game. The offensive game plan that game was conservative because Tebow only practice two days during game week and was limited to watching about an hour of film a day, opposed to his usual 4-5. If there is a game to point fingers, its the Arky game. It just seemed like the players were going through the motions and they SHOULD have lost that game.

People need to realize this UF team is not the same as last years. The Gators have injuries in the receiving corp (Debose, Moore) that might prove to be their achilles heel. If they win the title again this year it will be much the same way they did in 06, with a managed offense and dominating defense. That being said, I still have faith that they will find a vertical passing game before the SEC title game and that will open things up much more

Remember, we got Tennesse this weekend. These dang rivalry games scare the heck out of me. They dislike us as much as we do them and that could go wither way. What concerns me about my TIDE is the fact we fail to finish drives and score 7. That will hurt us against a top tier team if we do not fix it. Mcelroy better get his stuff together, he is in no danger of loosing his job since Star Jackson is the back up, but we will flogg him in the stands if we are forced to. Sure hope we hear rammer jammer and not rocky top this weekend.

Phillip, you out there bud. Your vols are coming to town, and I am worried at this point. Crumpton is coming into his own.

Yeah I'm out here. Bama and UF are both strong and their game in the SEC championship should be great....I just hope Bama is entering with one loss. :D I'm still on the fence of is Crompton putting it together OR was UGA just that bad. This weekend should answer that question.
