If the above scenario plays out, do I think they should put them in the Nat Champ Game, Absolutely. Do I think the BCS will put them in? No, They will match up two 1 loss teams and put BSU against Oregon in another BCS game.
Personally I would love to see Bama vs Oregon or BSU in the title game. I think that would make for an very entertaining game.
Agreed. There is no way Oregon could match Alabam's mix of speed and physicality. There is also no way Chip Kelly could out coach Nick Saban if the teams were evenly matched talent wise.
Wow this is something...... Some Boise fans think the SEC sucks. It is all about perspective. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=336&f=2246&t=6481176
Oregon has no grit.... They are all flash, it was proven last year when they played two teams with Defense... Boise and OSU.... If you forget, they lost both. Bamas defense would punish the Ducks and their offense would run Oregon's non existing defense out of the stadium. Count on it.
Boise is better than most of you give them credit for, but they have to prove how good they are to make the big game. Their schedule will not allow for that to happen.... So they will have to play and keep proving themselves in what ever BCS game they are invited to. They have the talent to beat most of the top 10 teams on a given day.... I do not believe they have the depth to play a full conference slate against the big conferences and survive unscathed though. Again, because of their depth.
My thoughts as well. Some will say Stanford was a "tough" team and Oregon handled them. Alabama has much better talent and speed though. Unfortunately, I agree with this too. Maybe the first time I have agreed with an Ohio-an twice in one day, about football. BSU is very talented. They could beat or hang with a lot of the top teams. My only issue is they get a much easier road to the BCS.
I wouldn't consider giving up 30 some points (I believe it was) to a team who is tasting a little bit of success for the first time in decades handling a tough team... The Pac-10 is down this year, Reggie Bush really screwed USC and the whole conference from his cheating ways. A bad USC team is bad for the PAC-10.
I agree they won by 21 points, a good win for sure... But my personal definition of a "handling" doesn't include giving up 30 some odd points. Different definition on my part is all.
I just had the thought of Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson against the Ducks defense.... It would be vicious the beating they would put on Oregon.
