I got the Gorilla vest at Bass Pro for $60. I like it way better than the ones that come with the stands!
I think they do it because it is the law to supply one so they include one that will work but they dont care how comfortable it is Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk 4
Thats what I got and I couldn't be happier. I agree that the ones that come with the stands are complete garbage.
I bought the Big Game EZ On safety harness and love it so far. It's a little heavy but kept me a lot warmer too that way. They sell for $90 but sportsmans guide has them for $40. Great deal.
Thanks for all the input guys. I will definitely check out the HSS & Muddy harnesses. Did you guys buy yours online or from a retailer like Cabelas? I typically like to support the smaller town sport shops instead of the big retailers, but wasn't sure if I could get one ordered from there or not.
I got a HSS and love it. This will be my 3rd season using it. I 'll be looking at there new ones next year (ultra-lite or ultra-lite x-treme). I wear mine under my jacket. I think I bought mine online at cabelas. I look for the best deal and sadly the local shop isn't always the best nor do they always have what I want. Sometimes they can order it tho.
I upgraded this year to the Big Game, They were on sale for $35 at Menards. I tried my sons HSS and it seams to rub on my neck to much. He loves it though. so, to each there own. I use the ones that came with the stands as spares. I hang each one at a treestand for anyone I bring out that either doesnt have one or forgot theirs.
