Bobcat pic

Trying to see how many coyotes are around so i put out an old lb of hamburger. Lots of yotes but also this furry critter. also found this rub in the timber i hunt. What do you all think made this? small buck or bobcat or some other critter? Anyway I thought the bobcat pic was pretty cool so i figure i would post.

Bobcat appears to be the one who made the rub on the tree.

I've always thought about putting up a camera over a gut pile, but usually by the time I'm done messing with the deer, I'm pooped. I think I'm going to start doing the same as you with my old meat and see what shows up. Cool pic!

I dont know what made it. Its a little low for a deer rub and its slanted and not up and down so im assuming bobcat but i really dont know. thats why im asking. sorry if i offend you but trying to learn.

It was most likely a small buck that made the rub, but you never do know. My cats use a cedar log as a scratching post. Who's to say bobcats or mountain lions don't do the same to mark territory/sharpen claws.
