    I laughed...good jab

I cannot understand why this is such a shock. A guy cheating on his wife....Just like athletes, coaches are purely entertainment. I think he sucks because he left my falcons high and dry midseason. On the other hand Nick Saban is loved in BAMA and loathed In Baton rouge for the same thing.

Guys, I am not to sure he is fired. They are a top 5 team because of him, and after years of being a ugly sister in the SEC they are revelvant again. Witholut him that goes out the window. Say what you want, but that matters to them more than a little fling. Now hiring her may be what gets him, but Pitino was banging his mistress in restaurants...but hey, Louisville is winning again as well.

You're exactly right. Its all about winning and the way it will always be. Winning goes a long way, especially for colleges.

But isn't Patino divorced? Big difference than cheating on your wife. And was Patinos girl an employee? Big difference. Sexual harassment or anything that can be played that way in the work place is a big NO NO..... no matter how much it's mutual. If he dumped his wife and married the bimbo he'd have a chance of keeping his job.... but we know that isn't happening.

Pitino was married when his affair happened, in a booth at one of the nicest restaurants in Louisville. The woman was a wife of one of his staff members no less. That staff member was fired after news of the affair broke.

I don't see the big deal with this situation as far as Arkansas goes...the coach cheated on his wife. Not a football issue.

He shoulda KNOWN Arkansas was gonna do that to him, look what it did to Bill Clinton.... :D

Agreed, she's quite a catch for a 50-something year old guy, but I'm sure his wife isn't very pleased....if he's married!!! And were those "engagement photos??" If so, I'm sure there's a 20-something year old guy who's a bit miffed right now as well!!!

WOW!!! Didn't realize Petrino is making over DOUBLE what Urban Meyer is slated to make at tOSU... Meyer is slated to make $1.8 million vs. Petrino's $3.68 million.... :jaw:

I think some may be selling the good people of Arkansas short here. Winning a football game or being a top ranked team doesn't trump high moral character for the people of Arkansas. This kind of stuff matters people no matter how much some people claim it doesn't. I know a dozen or so men who played football for Bear Bryant, Shug Jordan, Gene Stallings and Tommy Tuberville. It's interesting that when you talk to them about their glory days that not a single one of them talks much about winning or losing football games but about the life lessons they learned from their coach. They talk about the impact the coach had on them as a person. When dads send their sons to play for the coach at a school, they expect more than that from that coach or should expect more than that. BP will be fired and probably should be unless there is way more to the story. I honestly don't know many parents that would encourage their sons to play for him now, at least not the parents I know.

I do not agree with what Coach Petrino has done. But did anyone stop to think she used him to get her job? Just a thought.

Or maybe he hired her for sexual favors in the first place... that is both illegal and immoral.

Bobby said he'd "spent the day at the lake with his wife, and was undecided on which helmet he'd wear that night, and in the end opted to wear no helmet...." Bad choice, and I'm sure is wife isn't too overly caring for him right now as he's mending from those cracked ribs and broken neck. As for the chick, she's likely wondering why the hell she put herself in this position, unless of course she's gotten a call from "Hugh!!!" :D

(And dont give me the chinese hybrid whooping salamander as an example)

    Didnt think so.

Why should humans be any different?

It takes a real man to commit to a woman. There is no greater feeling IMO than being in love and committed to one lady.

We are different than animals because we know how to love.

    Absolutely Germ.

BUT my real response to Caleb would be, to each their own.......but if you do decide to marry, be faithful. If you're not gonna be, be a man, be honest, and give her a divorce instead of running around.
