I never ask for help for anything.. I have never signed up for medical help or food stamps etc from the state. For 8 years of my life I was homeless and have worked out of it all but this is different.

11 Years ago after a bad breakup I rescued a Pittbull that I named Ricky Bobby. In many ways he saved me as much as I saved him. He was my best friend and eventually got cancer. After a 2 year fight of his cancer with all I could do surgeries and meds. I finally had to have him put to sleep. That was one of the worst days of my life.

Fast forward 1 year later and I finally felt the need to get another puppy. I got her 1 week ago and have quickly fell in love with her. Her name is Bobbie Sue in honor of my last dog. I took her for her check up yesterday and found that she has a grade 5 heart murmur. The vets rate them 1 - 6. With this condition it's critical that she has heart surgery or she won't live passed 1 year old and the sooner the surgery the better. I'm a blue collar guy. There is no way I can afford this type of surgery. I live alone, pay all my bills alone and at the end of the month I am lucky if I have left over money. I know I've only had her a week and a lot of people might say it's not worth trying to raise money for a surgery on such a new puppy and that it might be easier and better just to let her live out her life as short as it may be. Or even put her to sleep. But I can't handle barring another dog so soon. Please help. https://www.gofundme.com/bobbie-sues-heart-surgery
