Hopefully, that is what we are all here for. Sometimes what we know turns out to be what we thought we knew and we walk away with wisdom instead.

I'm 53 and the verifyer lens will definitely help clear up your pins, but it may make your target a little blurry. I shoot with the verifyer lens and it helps.

Get a verifier and dont look back, you'll be shooting like your 19yrs old again.

So this weekend I tried shooting by focusing on the target instaed of the pin. I shot pretty well, I think, but trying to break old habits is weird as always. I did a self re-tune as I have lost a lot of weight and had some things move I would have never thought about but my anchor point is now a little different and I had to move my peep some which actually means I had to shorten my draw a bit. Wow, how small things change each other. Another other issue is my wrist strap no longer fit and I had to readjust my release length to anchor consistently and also my arrows are pretty long now, though I will leave them alone (for now) other wise I may have to change spine stiffness or shoot heavier heads.

Anyway, I shot great by focusing on the target at closer distance but as I moved further away, I found my arrows (or my mind) wandering around more. The biggest difference was that I did find it much easier to release without trigger punching when focusing on the target.
