I bought the bloodrunners to give them a try. Finally found the practice tips for them and gave them a try. They are 100gr and the same as my field tips. They are dropping a significant amount on my target. If I aim dead center they hit about 4in down consistently. Anyone else have this happen? Or know how this can be fixed?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

As long as paper tells me they are both flying straight, I just set my sights by my broad heads and practice with a spare set of broadheads. I hardly ever practice with field points anymore.

If you check them through paper and the broad head shafts are tearing then you have a tuning issue somewhere.

I was going to readjust my sights to my broadheads. Just shooting 10-12 arrows every few days with broadheads is going to rip that target apart.

Yeah, more than likely....I just buy a new target once in a while. If I get in the mood to shoot a lot just for the hell of it I will go back to shooting field points for a while and move my sight accordingly. I generally mark where my sight is set before I adjust for the broadheads and my react-one sight has all tool less adjustments so it's a fast and easy transition back and forth.

Back when I tried to tune my bow for both broadheads and field points I couldn't get both paper tune and simultaneous head alignment so thats the way I handled it. I feel better shooting at deer knowing where my broadheads are going to hit each and every time no matter what fieldpoints do. I had the same problem with mechanicals so that's where I ended up. Don't care about my target, lol.

That's a good idea. I will mark my sight for field tips and broadheads. Just adjust accordingly.
