Went and shot the 2 blade BR practice heads today. Unbelievably loud wind noise! Any way around it? Also, do you think the blades should be in line with the odd fletching or with the other two?

Yep i got that wind / whistle out of my practice heads also , i havent shot my actual heads yet and probally wont , gonna return the practice heads and the broadheads and get my $60.00 back and use it for something else more usefull . I have a ton of Slick Trick Standard heads to use up .

No you dont need to time your blades with the fletchings

I'm debating on doing the same. I shot the Grizz Trick last year and they also whistled. The NAPS were super loud! I may can over look that. It's just annoying. I'll either Rage it up or suck the noise up I guess.

I have never shot the practice heads, but I have never heard any noise out my two blade bloodrunners when I have shot them. I will be shooting them again this year as well.

I love the 2 blade bloodrunner's. I'll also be shooting them again this season.

At 82lbs DW and 30" DL I am betting your arrow speed is likely causing the noise. If your arrow were slower you probably wouldn't hear anything.

I haven't shot the practice heads, but as far as the regular 2 blade Bloodrunners go, I didn't hear any wind noise. No complaints here.

I just recently got some blood runners and they seem to be quiet, never used the practice heads though.

I noticed a good bit of noise when shooting them as well. I've gone back to my tried and true Muzzy's.

i shot the real heads, and the practice heads. they both whistled. and im shooting 67# at 28", im only shooting around 250-260FPS, give or take. so i dont think its his setup thats the only thing doing it.
