I got a pack of the 100 gr. Solid broadheads this year and so far I love them. They fly great, and are made of a high grade knife steel so you can just keep sharpening them and use them again. If some thing brakes, just send them back and get a new one. If you think about it, I go thru about 2-3 packs of rages every year so I spend $90 - $100 dollars each year. If I buy 1 pack of Solids for $80 and they last for several years, that's is a better deal for me.

Lets do it! Still will be a few months until I start testing but more then likely I will be making the switch. Dont see any reason why I cant get them to fly good, and the bone crushing advantage is so important to me. Think this is the way to go!

I think I could get them to fly good too, its already a well made broadhead so with a properly tuned bow I don't think there should be any issues. I was watching videos yesterday of guys shooting them out to 50-60 yards....MONEY!!! I would LOVE to see some blood trails and entry & exit hole pics from these bad boys! You thinking of getting the 1/2 or 3/4 bleeder blade?

I dont know if Ill shoot one with bleeders or not, but if I do Ill go with the smaller half inch ones. I assume bleeders, especially bigger ones, take away from penetration.

Good to know...So no need to change fletchings to a longer option for more stable flight? I always shot mechanicals due to it being so easy and accurate...and blood trials being awesome! Heard of people liking 3"-4" fletchings to help steer the brodheads when shooting a fixed. I currently shoot 2.1" Fusion Vanes.

Yea same here, I'm liking the smaller 1/2 bleeder.

Depends on which bow and set up. I have shot them with Blazers and 3 in AAE elites ...no issues

cmonsta....you wanted to see blood trails and that's what I too was starting to be interested in. Check these out, found these pics on Solid's FB page of a nice blood trail and the buck that made it...

I've been bow hunting for 27 years. I've shot ALLOT of deer and bear using 2 blade heads. A solid good 2 blade broadhead (not expandables) are you're safest bet of a broadhead. Nothing beats the penetration of a 2 blade. Nothing!

This is 19 years for me and I have never shot expandables. I was shooting Montec g5 s the last few years and just switched to prolly the cheapest head out there,Carbon Express Nativ 100 s.They fly spectacular and blow through big hogs.Good enough for me.
