After several discussions and lots of research I decided to purchase the 2 blade version and shoot them against my 3 blade blood runners. So far I can say that I do like them alot better. Thanks to everyone for their advise and help. Now if I can just get a deer this year with them I will be very happy. Seeing I have never killed with a bow.
Could you quickly give a couple reasons why you like them better? I am currently setup with Muzzy MX3's, but I am considering these for next year because of the larger cut.
yes i would like to know to, im shooting muzzy 100s and i would like to get these this thursday but i want them to work
well while we are waiting I can tell you guys that there has been a bit of discussion about these and you could probably do a search and find some other posts that might help. Most of what I have heard is all good. A few people mentioned that the broadhead makes some noise in flight and others have said they don't hear anything. So there is just a bit to get you started.
I used the Muzzy 100 grain and i made the switch to the 2 blade bloodrunner havent shot a deer with them yet but when practicing they fly like your field points and they have a bigger cutting diameter than the muzzy i like the bloodrunners alot but you cant go wrong with muzzys either. If you really want to try the bloodrunners my advice is to just get them and try
reply on comparisson I found that they seem to both the three blade and the two blades both make noise in flight. On the two blades I love the cutting diameter of them. I like their flight pattern and I like the fact they came with a practice blade where the three blade did not. However with the two blade I had to go back to a beman ICS 400 arrow and not use my easton flatline 500's anymore. The 500's seem to drop with the 2 blades but flew good with the 3 blades. But I will sacrifice the speed for the cutting of the 2 blades. Do a you tube search on hunting with the bloodrunners and watch the hog hunt they do with them and the blood trail they leave. Hope this helps.
I havent had any problems with noise with the actual 2 blade broadhead but the practice heads do make noise
