I am officially confused. When I read about the BR anywhere, It specifically states that it

    On the NAP site:
    1st page.
The BloodRunner broadhead ... it exapnds to a huge 2 1/4 cutting area...

After following links to the Broadheadspecific page:
The new BloodRunner is ... and a 1-1/2 inch cutting diameter... will even deliver a 1 inch cut in the closed position...

SO, which is it? Or am I missing an option here? I want the 2 1/4" cutting diam.

Really? 22 views, and not one response? I just want to know if there is a mixup on my part, or if there is an option? (i.e. larger grains = more diam.?)

Good question. I just ordered some and I can safely say that they are not 2 1/4" when opened. I'm guessing a typo or something.

The cutting diameter for the head when open is 1.5". The total cutting surface of the blades when open is 2 1/4" (3 x 3/4" blades). Hopefully that clears things up.

No, it made me more confused. I thought diameter WAS the same as cutting surface. I just looked up daimeter again, because I am an idiot. For the record. I did know what "Daimeter" meant. but I just figured out what is meant by "Cutting Surface" lol.

I learn new things every day. Thank you.

So, who likes these. lol. just kidding.

Cutting surface is just the size of the blades. Like Justin said they were 3/4" so all three blades add up to 2 1/4" inches of blade surface or cutting surface
