Got a question for you people in the know. I'm getting a new bow with parallel limbs and I was wondering if blazer vanes help that much with speed and consistency. I would like to be more consistent with my shots, and quicker too, even if it's 10 fps. I'm using the 5" helical plastic right now. TIA
I love my blazers. They shoot consistent and are great to shoot though a whisker biscuit. Don't know if they help with speed much though, but they don't hardly ever wrinkle, even after 300 shots through the biscuit. I'll never go back to flimsy 4 inch vanes.
i loved my blazers till i found AAE maxxHunters, they are 1/4 cost and shoot just as good as the blazers. ive used them for 2yrs now and i love them
Just changing fletch isn't really going to do anything in the speed realm for you. Just changing bows, depending on what your coming from and going to will do more. 5" helical plastic vanes is extreme but I'm betting it sure is helping you in the broadhead department. Which head are you using? That said, I have 4" feathers, 2" Blazers, 3" Duravanes and 2" Fusions all grouping together so the speed difference if any is negligible.
