I am new to the forum, and have a question about a product that I am not familure with. I bow hunted for years and got out of it about 12 years ago after some health issues but kept some of my equipment that are great, ( my Mathews Feather Max) which is like new according to the dealer I took it to this week to have it checked and restrung. I have no idea about the Blazer Vanes that I see. I will be hunting Whitetails in Louisiana and will not shoot past 35 yards period. I was very good with a bow then and am starting to work back up. I put a Whisker Biscuit on the bow to replace the old rest. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE ON BOTHE THE " BISCUIT AND BLAZER VANES" I don't have any arrows with them yet but hear that with this rest they are a requirement.
    55 yoa and relearning

    Thank you.

    Biscuit & Blazers

I use the blazer vanes on all of my arrows and love them. I have never had a problem with them. I do not use a biscuit rest any more, I switched to a drop away when I got my Mathews bow. I never had any issues with the blazers and the biscuit rest when I did use it. The vanes stood up well to the rest. Hope this helps.

Love the Blazzers hate the biscuit!!!
I have no drama shooting out to 70yards with broad heads with 3x2inch blazers. I prefer a drop away to the biscuit. The biscuit robs me of accuracy.
    Good luck

I'll go along with the crowd on this one, love the Blazers and shoot a Trophy Taker drop away rest.

I never had any problems while shooting a biscuit, but I did switch to a G5 Expert drop away and I love it. Some people have problems with vanes coming off when shooting the biscuit. If you just add a drop of glue on the front end of the vanes it will solve that problem if it happens to you.

Again I used to shoot the biscuit and got robbed of consistent accuracy, so I switched to a QAD Pro HD drop away, which keeps my arrow contained till the moment of truth.

I have shot blazer vanes ever since they came out and don't plan on switching any time soon. They fly great with broadheads, and are very durable.

I shoot the Blazer vanes after having accuracy issues with 4 in vanes. I have had really good luck with the Blazers.
I personally do not like the idea of my rest coming in contact with any part of my arrow or vanes when its coming off the string. Therefore I shot the QAD rest and love it.

I put blazers on a few arrows that I refletched and they actually group better than the 4 inch vanes I had on them.
