Has anybody else had any problems with there blazer vanes being scary close to there cables? I never realized just how close I was to my cable until I added my drop away this year! I have to shoot my arrow cock feather at 10o'clock??

I am getting new arrows and am thinking of switching it up. What are some other good short profile vanes to switch too? I have been looking at the Duravanes, and VaneTecs.

    Blazers: .600 tall
    Duravane Fusions: .560 tall
    Duravane Predator: .500 tall
    Vanetec Super Spines:?
    Vanetec HP: .600 tall

Nothing wrong at all with shooting cock feather at 10:00, I have shot mine in that orientation for awhile with no problems at all. I have the blazers and a drop away to.

Same here! Shot them today for the first time and I must say I am impressed! I thought they shot better than my blazers.

I used feathers exclusively since I have been in archery 4 inch RW helical are my favs - I did dabble with the small vanes last year but have since found my way back to feathers

All vanes will lay down more than you think when the shot goes off... You'd be surprised if you do the lipstick test!

    Yeah Im screwed..

I am not quite sure what vane I am going to have to go to now?

I just got doone shooting a little bit with Beman ICS arrows wrapped/BLAZERS...and no matter which way I turn my arrow I cant get clearance from hitting my rest?? I am actually hitting the felt that is placed on my riser shelf??

I never shot any four inch vanes but from eyeballing it, I am not going to be able to even clear with them?

Does anybody have any suggestions?? The centershot should be right as it was set a few days ago at the pro-shop?? Does anybody have any suggestions on new Vanes???

I am switching to a smaller diameter FMJ arrow so maybe that combined with a smaller profile vane, I can get enough clearance???
