Something is wrong with your rest. I have the same one and shoot it with 2in blazers with no problems. It locks down everytime.

I my limbdriver rest for the center, and then use it to shoot level. Have never been in contact with it. It can be said the same thing about any other rest.

I don't know about the LD model but I have used the HD for the last 2 years and I have never had a problem. It came with separate arrow holders....one for Blazers and one for regular vanes...It was simple to set up and I have never had a problem..

very insightful thread. Definately making me re-think my decision of putting a QAD on my new insanity since I prefer the blazer vanes.

I am a Ripcord man myself. But I have installed a few QAD's and if they are not timed right or installed just right you will have problems with them. You should not have blazer veins hitting the rest. The guys that I put them on for shoot blazers and have no problem.

I am using the NAP Apache and was useing Blazers - worked like a charm.
Now I am using FOBs instead of Fletching with the same rest - nothing but clockwork.
So I am endorsing the NAP Apache and Blazers or FOBs. Personally I am hooked on FOBs. Takes what about 3 seconds to install vs Fletchings.
