Ive been having a problem with blank images lately. I tried adjusting the sensivity, but that only does so much on those windy days. I wanted to see how many other people are having this problem, or how it has been solve. thanks.

I have a covert and I am having a problem with sensitivity. The slightest wind can blow and it takes a picture. I have like 2k every night. Any ideas on how to adjust it?

I normally have no problems with it. The exception is if a weed or a limb grows up or sags down that's not normally there.

I don't get "blank" images on my Coverts, but I get my share of good pics where there's nothing discernible in them. I think that would be a sensitivity issue.

I put a second camera 90 degs apart pointing at the same spot as the first one is.
    Compared images, for better coverage.

Then, I got a Reconyx and saw what I was missing, no pun intended!

I'd use them too, if I had private land where I KNEW nobody else was hunting/trespassing on.

Could be just the camera itself. I have 2 of the same model cameras, one is great and rarely's ever get a "blank" picture but the other one gets them all the time. I have changed batteries and cards with no help.

Sometimes its more about set up than the camera Unless youre chasing "pretty pics" make sure its facing north whenever possible also try to trim and branches or vegetation that may blow in the wind and cause false triggers. The sun and wind are normally the cause for false triggers.

I spent 5 minutes or so cleaning an area around one of my cameras so that there would be no branches or grass snapping blank photos, within an hour of me leaving I had a stubborn branch pop out of nowhere and take close to 3,000 photos....I think the best thing you can do is place the camera on a tree that has no scrub or long grass around it, and also make sure the camera is at least chest height so any long grasses don't set it off.
