I've been hearing about the Black Rack Rattle for deer. Has anyone had any experience with them and what do you think about them? Thanks....

Used them this past season, worked out real well once. Rattled in a young 8 point to 35 yards....literally on a string. Just turned to his right with a too big of a quartering away angle and then just walked away and disappeared. Seemed to bring him in nicely though.

I've been curious in this set of rattling horns too...seen on the outdoor channel a show on them and they sound good on tv but I'd like to hear them in person.

I don't believe the sound is that big of deal when calling. What's important is your setup and having a buck to doe ratio to create competition. I've had my best luck with the rack pack. Does it sound like real antlers pounding together, I don't think so, but with the right setup they work. The best feature is they're sure nice to pack into stand compared to most other products or the real thing when it comes to rattling products.
