has closed up shop .... OUT OF BUSINESS .... I have purchased from both thru the years ... liked the Merino Wool base layers ... looked at Camofire daily (usually) ... drats .. It’s with a heavy heart that we share that BlackOvis and Camofire are closing operations. For years, we’ve had the privilege of serving one of the most passionate outdoor communities in the world: the hunting community. Thank you for your loyalty, feedback, laughs, and trust. Our mission was simple: make great gear accessible to hunters and outdoor adventurers. Whether you were a new customer last month or a customer since 2008, together we built a brand and movement that far exceeded the humble beginnings in a basement. For that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. From all of us — thank you for being part of the journey.
I hated to hear that. I would look at their ad every morning. I thought they had some pretty decent deals from time to time. I too especially liked their merino wool products. I knew something was up when they didnt post an ad for several days and then it finally said they were shutting down Sent from my SM-S916U1 using Tapatalk
I just checked the app and it just shuts down without even opening. I am devastated. My bank account rejoices. Seriously though, that sucks. Their customer service was honestly about as good as it gets. A few years back they worked really hard to fix an issue I had with an OnX promo code they were selling. They went direct with OnX and fixed the issue when OnX wouldn't even respond to my emails. I will also really miss their arrow shaft sales, but I have enough now to keep me in stock for several seasons. Yes, even the way I shoot.
Heard they were /are filing for bankruptcy. Which begs my follow up question…who picks up their inventory?
for my wool base layers, I always went with Black Ovis or First Lite ... looks like FL will get my business now ..
I will vouch for the minus 33 stuff. I own some of their expedition weight pieces and it is super warm and soft. It's expensive but very good Sent from my SM-S916U1 using Tapatalk
