How do you like yours? I have an 08 Allegiance and I love it, but when I was looking to buy last yr, it came down to these two bows and I went with the Ally...I still want a Black Ice, they just shoot so well...Im thinking of buying a decent used one this winter something in the 06 /07 range...

when i bought my last bow about 2yrs ago the Black Ice was my #1 choice, just couldn't afford it at the time so I bought used... I think the Black Ice would be an excellent hunting rig, small, light, smooth, fast enough, and very quiet... if you can find a nice used one, should be able to pick it up for 300 or less with options on it...

I bought an 08 black ice about a year and a half ago. I absolutely love it. I shot roughly a dozen of the 09 bows this year, and while I really liked a few of them, I still would throw the black ice right near the top. Of course those other bows weren't set up for me. The black ice is a very smooth and quiet bow and a pleasure to shoot.

I have an 07 that my stepson shoots now. I traded it for my Guardian then went a couple weeks later and bought it back. I was going to shoot it myself but he wanted it so I gave it to him. I am going to look for a left over or used one to set up for me this winter. I think it is the best single cam bow I have shot. It is a really shooter the draw is great and it is very accurate. I like it alot.

I love my Alley, but, if I have the $ I will buy a left over this winter. I have never heard a bad review about a black Ice.

I shot several bows this evening at a sporting goods store here in Des Moines and the Black Ice was, for me, way better than the new Reezen 7.0. The only bow that compared, and I would prefer to have, is the Elite GT500. But then you are talking more money. I was very impressed with the Diamond bows.

And this is coming from a "HOYT GUY"........

The Black Ice is one of the nicest feeling and shooting bows I've shot, I'd go as far to say I liked the couple I shot even better than my Trykon XL or Katera XL, and I've actually window shopped AT considering picking one up. The only bow I might rate above the Black Ice is the Hoyt AM35 and the AM32, though it's really close between the AM32 and the Black Ice.
