Was at Scheels on Black Friday hoping to pick up a Covert MP6 but they were all out of them. Came across another brand... Hunten GSC35-50IR that was regularly $99.99 but on sale for $69.99 for Black Friday. I had read the reviews for the Hunten cam on Chase.com and they were pretty good. I bought two of them for the same price as 1 covert MP6 at Scheels. This hunten cam is the black out cam.

Anyone had any luck with these or familar with them ??

I will stick one out tomorrow and pull the card Tuesday. My test spot usually has a lot of deer at night so I will get a good idea how good the pictures are at night.

I got home that night and seen Wing Supply had the MP6 for $98. I ordered one and a cheapy hat to get the free shipping. Hoping to have it by next week.

I've always thought Black Friday was a waste but not no more. A good day to buy trail cameras. Saved $110. :D

I believe that's the exact same model that I'm currently using. Here's a couple of links to some pictures and videos from my HUNTEN game camera.

The cam in your link isn't the same. You have the C30-30 IR. Pretty good night pictures from the looks of it.

From the first batch of pictures I got from the C35-50 IR black flash... not so good. Set it on a burst of 3 and it took 900 plus pictures last night. The camera caught everything, trigger speed was pretty good and no blurry pictures from quick movement of the deer or coyotes. Horribly grainy though and terrible pictures. The couple day time pictures it took weren't even that good.

I figure there is no point in even taking the second camera out of the package and trying it. Does anyone make a good black flash trail camera that isn't grainy ?? So far I haven't been impressed in the least with the Bushnell black flash or this Hunten black flash. Who wants to look at pictures like this ??? All 900 pictures looked like this.

You get what you pay for, ouch. Try a Moultrie or Covert.
