Ok no problem. I don't have any .300 rampage built now but I do have a few dozen .300 shafts. Great shafts. I used the .350s so far this season and they been great.
See that's all I'm looking for is shafts. I usually build all my own stuff Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Sounds good sir thanks. If nothing else may have to go with the .350s Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Bowhunters super store has some in stock. Not a bad price but not great either...125 a dozen. Looks like the have .300 in stock
I've only shot this 250lb Boar with them so far but their the weight, 300 spine, 5mm diameter, .0001 straightness and FOC with a lighted nock I've been looking for with the 65# I'M pulling now. 30'' arrow 480 grains with 50g insert and 125g BH. about 15% FOC with a Luminox The fps is only 266 but I've got shoulder issues so thats the way it is. Hit that hog at 23 yds extremely quartering away and he piled up 18 yes away. Couldn't believe it and, he was running right for the swamp.
Good to hear. I like them as well. I think for the weight they are about as tough as anything else. Not to say they are compatible to thick walled higher GPI arrows however they can hold their own for what they are. I really like how I can up weight the front end to get high FOC while maintaining a moderate overall weight. I went unconventional this month by using them on a moose hunt. The arrow was about 75 grains lighter( 440 grains with 210 up front ) then anything I used previously on really big game however they performed excellent. I plan on shooting the same arrow for the rest of this years hunts.
I'd like to hear more about that Moose! Where'd you hunt? I haven't decided yet but right now I'm looking at an Alberta moose hunt next year with them. How much weight are you pulling? Kilboars Hunt Club
We hunted Newfoundland this month, I took my father with me. Had a great hunt with plenty bulls. Four of us in camp with me being the only bowhunter. We killed a 40, 31, 42 and 38. Decent bulls for Newfie. I can't wait to get back up there in couple years. Going to take my dad back in 2019 which the first opening they have available. I actually switched bows a few weeks before I left because I wasn't happy with how I was shooting that bow. In fact I sold the bow and the arrows ( the ones listed above) as I was pissed off. Anyway I took the bow I planed to deer hunt this year instead as I was shooting it excellent. I built a new .350 Rampage with brass hits to use on the moose ...only a 440 grain arrow but really high FOC. I am pulling 66 pounds, no issue with moose at all. Solid pass though at 40 yards. The only thing I would recommend with Rampage or any arrow if your using hits is to foot the front of the shaft. On big game they take a beating and the footing really sure thing up adding lateral strength.
I think we talked about this hunt before you left. You and your Dad drove? Great hearing you all tagged out. Love to see some pics. I was thinking of hunt with Rays hunt and fish camp in Newfoundland also. How'd the meat? They say it's better than Elk. Kilboars Hunt Club
