This weekend I really wish I had my binos.. To start off a few weeks back my friend took his 10 year old boy out bowhunting. He was at the bottom of bean field and his boy was at the top.. Bubs called him on the radio and told him he just misses a big black buck. Bubba was like yea ok and started to walk up to get him out of the stand. There standing at the edg of the field he saw the buck.. Very dark color but couldnt tell if it was not just wet or not. So sat night I was at the same farm and at about 200 yards I see down in a revien 2 black things.. At first im like wow those are hoggs..Not many around here so I was shocked. They started walking towards me and as they got up the hill I saw that they were 2 nice bucks and they were BLACK!!! Needless to say a Old doe came out and winded me and started blowing so they all ran off

Sweet! I'm pretty sure that's known as melanism. Very cool and quite rare in whitetails from what I understand.
