    Opening day of VA bow opener. So it's around 915 this morning and im sitting there and have only seen one squirrel. I know there are bears in the area but never had been able to see one in stand. I hear something behind me and its a large black thing walking im like wow huge coon....no bear. From the time of me seeing him to the shot was about 15 seconds. Track him about 50 yrds and there he lay. Made a great walking broadside shot. 225lb dressed.

    I was just hunting. Deer and bear run the same bow seasons here so im always open to both. Same tree I shot a nice doe in last year!
