I watch these shows and many similiar where people go to different regions of the world, utilizing the entire animal.

I find it intriquing and somehow I'm envious, that perhaps, they are respecting or are more grateful for the animal.

Of course I utilize the meat, I take the occassional Heart and Liver home.

So I'm curious if anyone has gone farther with extracting edible goodies from their deer, such as kidneys, brains, saved blood for pudding, intestines etc..... I know to some it seems gross or disgusting, I can respect that. But many parts of the world could feast on what we leave behind.

Maybe I'm the only one that watches these shows and gets hungry, for something more. But I believe I could eat with Andrew or share bugs with Bear.....

I usually shoot the heart....and I don't feel like digging around for incinerated heart.

Nothing crazy for me... I'll feed the coyotes with the non-muscular pieces. And sorry, I'm not putting mule deer hearts, livers, tongues, etc. in my pack and hauling them out.
