This fall was going to be awesome. A Canadian bear hunt followed by a whitetail season full of promise. Then 3 days after returning from Canada I passed out mowing the yard.

I was diagnosed with a 3rd degree heart block as a result of Lymes. After 10 days in the ICU I became the proud owner of a pacemaker at 33 years old.

Lymes is certainly nothing to mess with. Until a few months ago, I was not aware that the bullseye does not always present and if it does it can present in areas other than the bite site.

This forum had provided a nice avenue to live vicariously through my fellow hunters. Keep the pics coming everyone.

[IMG]Yikes this scares me. I've pulled over three hundred off me this year alone. Most were crawling but still worrisome. Here's the cup I kept them all in for a while. I keep them for a month or so I case I get sick.

Lyme's Disease is really bad here in Northeast PA...I know several people who have had real issues from it (Bell's Palsy, chronic pain and fatigue, etc.)

Hopefully you got it early enough that it has no effect.
