Each probably has its legions of fans... the Biscuit specifically because the length of time it's been on the market.

I've got a couple Octane Tripwires on my Destroyers and they perform flawlessly. I like the fact that I can run an extremely hard helical with the dropaways...

I agree with Greg here, the Tripwire, from my experience, is an awesome rest!

It all depends on how far your wanting to shoot. You will have better accuracy out of a drop away, but if you never plan to shoot much past 40-50 yards you won't notice much of a difference. Also, full containment style rests tend to cause more wear and tear on your arrow, i.e. fletchings tearing off. That being said, a full containment rest is worry free!

I personally would recommend the Whisker Biskuit over the Hostage. Just have had too much wear issues with the Hostage.

Of the two....you've got the tried and true Biscuit.....or the Octane "flavor of the month".

Forget the name brands, though, and figure out what your needs for a rest are. Do you NEED a drop-away? And, if so, do you really wanna buy a prototype?

Haven't had the chance to play with the Tripwire. A biscuit is a biscuit. If you want "tried and true" in a dropaway, take a look at a LimbDriver from VaporTrail.
