okay the spot that me and my step dad hunt is full of nice healthy deer. It has 360 acres to it. But 200 acres of that is corn so we mostly hunt the edges this year he took a beautiful 7 and i missed a 17 in (spread) 6 pt. i would have put him on the wall. we have sawn many more bucks bigger and smaller of these two when scouting. We have a big field with some tall brown grass. We were told it has some rocks in it not many their is a pond on the end of that. Well i will get to my point i thing the only way we will see these big boys that are out their is a good biologic foot plot. What kind would u people recemmed we want 12 to 15 inches tall.

Their is a to track that seperates our property and the neibors . My dad claims he saw the buck after he shot the seven with his bow. Well i was set on this bow it was a split brow 9 to make it a ten i saw him all over with the trail cams. The neighbor missed this deer at 30 yds with a rifle we think he scared this buck away.

I think he will be their next year hopefully our foodplot will make him appear at least sometime in one the the 3 phases of the rut.

Sounds like you have a sweet spot to plant a plot. Good luck with it. Any idea what variety of Biologic you will be planting?

Check there website. They have a run down of what to use, and where, when, ect.. Good luck! I'm working on doing the same thing with some of my dads land.
