What binoculars are you using? or what would you like to have? I thought I was getting a pair of Swarovski 8x30 from a friend but when I came with the money ($500) he said he just couldn't part with them and backed out, but he also said get the very best I can afford, so now I'm looking again. So I want to get some vet input so I make an educated choice.

I've had the Nikon Monarch ATB's for 2 seasons now (10x42) - VERY happy with them...with sale and rebate they were around $180. They came highly recommended on this forum when I posted the same ?

    Whatcha huntin'? ................and where?

I have the Monarchs ATB's in 8X42 and love mine (5yrs now). But, if I was hunting out west, I'd probably get another pair.

Good luck. Just remember....bigger isn't always better. And, using them for bowhunting....bigger might be worse.
