I, for one, think she looks great. As far as I can tell, she figured out the secret to managing the weight she should have been all along. She may need to moderate her exercise and eating a bit to settle in to the right weight for her. 'The Biggest Loser' winner defends weight loss: I did everything naturally - MSN TV News
Why do people always have to put others down. She does something really good for her life and people still find fault. Maybe she can help the overweight people finding fault with her weight loss. She does look good. Sent using Tapatalk!
I saw the finale when it aired and I thought she looked too skinny to be healthy as well, I also think people way over reacted with a petition to "pull her money." I think she is setting a bad example for people trying to lose weight though.
Good for her that she lost the weight but she looks terrible in terms of health. Not sure if she became obsessed with losing weight, but hopefully she will adjust her routine and get to a healthy weight. Give it some time, the contest is over. Nobody is pushing them to lose a bunch of weight now.
The show is setting a bad example. If she worked out for 7 1/2 months, she lost a little over 5 pounds a week. A healthy loss per week is no more than 2 pounds. They're being pushed for max weight loss. She looks like she didn't have any strength training at all throughout those 7 months.
I haven't watched the whole series or even season, just the finale because my family members had it on in the living room so I wouldn't really know about the rest of the 7 months. I was just saying from my prespective as a person who just saw the finale.
Agreed... I guess I lost weight too and heard the same type comments. There is a certain amount of shock value to other people at first and it does take a while to get settled in to seeing the new person. Agreed she may have lost too much... maybe... but she'll find the right balance.
This show really brings tears to my eyes, like bad. Something about seeing someone achieve something they truly want after putting the work in. I was really rooting for David, because his back story was pretty touching. If that gives me lady parts, so be it. For somebody to put her down, knowing she invested a lot of time toward achieving a personal goal, is mind blowing to me. Regardless of what she looks like, she did exactly what she wanted to do, so she deserves to be happy. If those casting their negative opinions toward her would focus half as hard on themselves maybe they would be happy with their own circumstance.
I understand. I haven't watched a season but just by looking at the article, 155 pounds in 7 1/2 months sounds more like a quick fix than a long term health plan. Again, she won the money, now she'll be able to balance it out.
You have to remember guys its a weight loss competition and she has obviously lost as much weight as she can to try and win.
This is true, exposing the problem with the show.... This is the first time the winner went below a healthy weight... And there is no way she ate 1600 calories a day and worked out.... She has zero muscle tone... This was an ex athlete.... Sad
I won't judge whether she is healthy or not, but I would prefer a little more weight on her. She was trying to win a competition...I have no doubt she will actually put on a little more weight now either with lean muscle or touch of fat...she will look great with either, right now though not to me.
Gaining massive amounts of weight can be a big problem for swimmers after they stop. They get conditioned to eating tons of calories and when they stop swimming, they can really pack it on fast. Go to any swim meet. Many of the coaches are huge. The good thing is, they can also get it off very quickly. Faster than most... by resuming their workout routine.
