This will be my 5th season bow hunting. I started bow hunting because of this site. Now I count down the days every yr. (30 days till opening day in Michigan) Well I finally got an 8pt buck hitting my bait pile. I have vids of him with a 7 pt at 9am for like 30 mins and then at night from 8pm till almost 9pm. I've only seen spikes up to 5 pts tops on my land until this month. Keep in mind this might be a small 8pt for the majority of you. But the biggest buck I shot so far with my bow was a 3 pt. (and my only buck). I'm so excited to just know I have an 8pt on my land.

He has potential but I doubt he is your biggest buck. He is not an old deer at all... probably 2 1/2. Looks like you are having a blast with your game cam... keep filming and I bet you see a bigger one sooner or later.

In Vermont only one or two 150" buks are shot every year. Some places just dont have the genetics, feed or climate that other places do. I'd shoot hime here.

that is a nice buck in my neck of the woods! when he comes by take your time and make a good shot. I have been hunting the same property for the last 7 years and this is the third biggest buck on our property that I have seen. PICT0632.jpg if he shows up in two weeks he will be going down. As stated above not everywhere has giant bucks.

Well I've had trail cams out on the same 40 acres that has there sub-divisions and a lake on 3 sides with a large 2 lane highway on the 4th side. The biggest buck I have ever seen on any of my cams up till this guy was a 6pt. So after 3 yrs and 10,000's of pics. He is biggest buck I have seen on the property. I'm glad to have him for sure. I'm taking the 1st week of Oct off from work to bow hunt everyday and the 1st week of Nov for rut. Anyone else counting down the days?
