Cricket, haven't had him officially scored but Justin got 190 and change and Decroo got 189 and change. Not a True 8 but for sure a main frame 8. (wasnt sure if he qualified)
Had a good number of pics of this deer back in 2012. On the glorious occasion of these pictures (right by my stand) I was in a ground blind 500 yds away sitting with a buddy that convinced me it'd be cool if we hunted together that cold Nov morning. Probably one of my top 5 all time hunting mistakes (and that's a hard list to crack). He was killed about a week later by the guys across the road. He field dressed 227 and had a score of 181 SCI whatever that means. I had him guessed as a high 160s PY deer. One of the biggest deer I have ever hunted and he was a basic 8 with gnarly stickers on his bases and great brow tines.
City Buck!! This is the best 8 that I've personally had the chance to see up close. Got an awesome video of him too. Highway and houses were literally all around.
I'm not much on showing off pictures, but I have the same obsession with large 8 ptrs. Here is the one that I have on camera. I haven't checked cameras for a few weeks since the season is now open and I haven't been in there to mess with the area.
One of these two probably. I'm not sure, we generally have an abundance of good sized 8s here. These two are the best this year that I've seen so far I think. There are a couple that may have bigger frames but they are technically 9 pointers.
This is the best one for me. It a good east tn deer. Pick him up last year for the first time during thanksgiving. Have not saw him yet hope he moves back in during Nov.
First buck scored 142" gross. Second was bigger but never had a good shot on him thought he was in the 150s.
