G]26332[/ATTACH] My Dad shot this deer about 21 years ago when i was just a kid during my second or third hunting season. I still remember having to get the truck to get the deer across the field cause we were so tired after dragging him only 150 yards but it took us 2 hours to do it!lol..When we got him to the butcher shop and hung him up he was by far the biggest deer, there were 8,10,and 12 pointers that look like yearlings next to him lol...He wieghed 264 lbs after being field dressed! I still have not had that big of deer on the ground yet! Hope you guys enjoy the pics! R.I.P Dad
Very cool! Even more special that the mount has memories and a legacy tied to it. thanks for sharing!
Thanks guys!! Yea i would have to say he was 300lbs before gutting him, and that mount does no justice for him..still trying to find photos of him in the back of the truck!
I've got pics of one that the antlers are that size...but the body isn't too big. Thats a nice one...that was a cow...lol. If one weighed that much in TN. it would be a record..
Depends where in PA. My hometown and WMAs around it has a 3 on one side restriction not 4. So it would be fair game.
I enjoy seeing Big Six Point Bucks (but BIG just took on a whole new meaning!). And that's hunting... remembering past hunts with loved ones and friends, and reliving them for years to come. Thanks for sharing.
