    After missing a Tom on Thursday alone I shot this gobbler today with my 5 year old in the blind with me. It was a special day for me and my son. Seriously, I teared up a little bit as we celebrated and hugged. I'll let the pictures tell the story.

    24 lbs
    9 inch beard
    1-1/16" spur

    Looks to be a 3 year old bird.

    Today is pretty much the most special day I've ever had hunting.

    Hook 'em while they're young and you will have a huntng partner for life. I did and it's the best thing ever! Our adventures seem endless and it's a great way to spend time together.
