This old girl has been hitting our baits for 3 years now. She's one ornery *****!! This year she didn't hit this bait till the end of the 1st week of September. We were wondering where she was. When she's got cubs she really puts a damper on this bait. We had 3 other bear hitting this bait, one of which was about a 225 to 250lb boar. As soon as she showed up all of the other bear pretty much abandoned this bait. I like having her around for the fact that she's got great genes and all but she sure makes hunting for other bears a pain on this bait. We can shoot sow's with cubs here In Minnesota. I'm not sure yet If I'd ever shoot her even on the years she don't have cubs because of the great genes this bear has. But then again she's probably a once In a lifetime sow. I know she's pushing over 350lbs dressed If not close to 400lbs. She's not very tall for her size which Is usually typical for a sow but she's VERY deep and wide. She's a tad over 6 feet long. Her cubs (2 blacks and a chocolate) are absolutely huge!
