I decided that I am going to order a bow rest from 3rd hand. I have been adamant about holding my bow at all times while in the stand but this season I am relenting. I have used a TR revolution the last 4 years and it is mechanical so over the years of use the odds of a failure get higher. I decided to go with a vapor trail rest so I am losing the full containment. 3rd hand has a bow holder that will hold my bow exactly as I would design it for myself. I will review it once I use it to hunt.

Which vapor trail you going with? Also might want to consider the Trophy Taker smack down pro. It's limb driven too. But I do like Vapor Trail Pro V

I have been using one on my Lone Wolf Sit and Climb wide and like it. Ignore my ugly mug but this is how it keeps my bow. It's back a little but can't move it any farther forward on my stand. I only took this pic because a button buck was behind me for almost an hour, but I totally missed getting the deer in the pic LOL.

Edit: here is where it is mounted on my stand:

Bought one about a week ago for my mobile set up. Haven't put it on yet but seems pretty solid. I would've liked it to be a little lighter, though.

Not sure of the vapor trail model, I printed up the sheet on the model and checked my bowshop and they stock them so I will figure out the exact model when I bring my bow in for it's yearly inspection. I like the fact that the 3rd hand holds the bow right there actually less movement than when I held the bow in my lap.

I am completely happy with my TR Revolution but it is 4 years old and mechanical so it needs to be replaced.

I had the Third Hand on my Lone Wolf Hand Climber. It didn't really work for me because it ate up so much room I couldn't move around the platform for shots to the sides or behind me. Did you secure yours to the seat part?
