Well it's official, today will be my last day with L. Wallace Construction. Things were slow and it was time to move on, so I turned in my resignation yesterday. I'm going to pack up my fly rod, my bow, some other outdoor goodies and Hoyt and I will head North. I'll be stopping in Wyoming to see friends and family and then headed to Bozeman, MT to be a... well, a bum :D I'll stay with one of my best friends and hopefully just fish, shed hunt and shoot some turkeys. It's a pretty good time in my life to go figure out what it is I want to do as I really have no ties to the South except for the incredible friends I've made here and my dad in Texas. I'm excited and have no idea how long it will last... maybe a couple of months, maybe longer. I miss the mountains more than anything and this will be refreshing for the soul to say the least. It is kind of weird not to have a job or any responsibilities but it's pretty exciting at the same time. I was going to do this in the fall and it didn't work out so here we go! :D Wish me luck and I'll post pics of the journey!
If I weren't so far In debt I'd be heading west myself Dustin. Best of luck to what ever comes your way.
Good luck with everything Dubs! I've got a feeling that I'm going to be in the same position after I graduate next year. The job outlook doesn't look all that great, so I'm open to living wherever and doing whatever it takes to make a living.
Have fun ya bum! Just don't abandon our turkey team. If you decide to do it again in about 5 years, look me up, I'll be retired. (I hope)
I know it was a hard decision bro and I wish you the best of luck. Oh yeah.....thanks for calling me back tonight! ****wad!!!!
Man I wish you all the best, in whatever the hell it is you decide to do. I look forward, very much, to the stories along the way.
Good luck man. The only place in the nation that construction is booming is in TX. I have a friend doing blueprints for a lumber yard down there and he cant keep up. The economy here in MN bites ass.
