Looks like a bobcat to me too. I think you can see the tail tucked under it back legs. Chin and neck look colored like a bobcat too.

Where's a bigger pic of the important photo?

I would have to say bob cat. You can see the coloration on the back legs and the throat area. It sure looks like a big bob cat though.

1,000 percent bobcat... I walk up to too many of them in my traps to not be sure.

You're the only one that can get an idea of the scale Dubbs, my first thought was cougar. I don't see any spots on it and those feet look big compared to the body / leg size. Put a meter stick where it's standing and get another pic for size comparison. Like you said, too bad you can't see the tail.

Get a better trail camera. ;) I could see that being a mountain lion but Greg has saw more bobcats then most so I'd say listen to him.

I guess this boils down to whether this is a bobcat or cougar. Where was this pic taken? Do you have cougar in your area? Cougar are far less common than bobcat also I think I'm seeing spots up front on the cat, so, I believe it's a mature Bobcat.

Looks like Puma Concolor to me. The head appears to be more rounded than a bobcat and the pale white underbelly just appears to be more in line with a Mtn Lion. Not to mention it's posturing and the lack of visible stripes or spotting on it's coat.

If thats a bobcat, thats a big one. The ones I've seen are about the size of a beagle.
