Thanks everyone. Matt, this has been, by far, the best season I've had. I didn't mention I also took a doe in Missouri as well, tagging out there too. Probably the thing that makes me proudest is that I made four good shots on four deer. I seriously don't know how I'll ever top this year. I've been truly blessed. The trip to Missouri was unbelievable. The outfitter, Hawk Outfitters in Mercer County is top notch. The accommodations were outstanding and the hunting of course was as very good. What I really liked about him was the fact that I didn't feel like a number. The guy genuinely wanted you to take the buck of a lifetime and you felt like you were actually hunting instead of just being hauled into a honey hole each morning. He knows his properties and deer and will make you hunt them the best way he sees fit. We shared quite a few beers in camp together after I killed and he's just an all around good guy. I'm already looking forward to returning next year to chase another midwest monster.
