Nah Sota. Likes / dislikes mean notta. However, I AM adamant on people joining forums that do it for their own personal gain$$/ ego without much other contribution.
Understand what you mean, however...I find some value in his posts here. I don't think he is doing it for personal gain, money, nor ego. He shares his videos here to give, wait for it, information about broadheads. The most critical part of all this gear imo. Lots of folks are active on this forum who do nothing but ***** and moan in the other threads and provide zero valuable information about what this site is all about. Bowhunting.
Well, I have 409 posts on this forum, which is not a lot...but it's a lot more than the number of videos I've posted here. I'm not sure what the "acceptable" ratio of posting new content compared to commenting on other's posts is, but I do take part in this forum beyond posting my videos. The vids I share are intended to help people see how a broadhead performs in a standardized set of tests, in order to provide comparative data, so one head can be compared to another. Do you know how little money you receive from views on YouTube? It's like a few dollars for every thousand views. From this forum, that means I probably generate a dollar or so, at most, for each of the videos I post. Financial gain is clearly not my goal here. But I do appreciate that you all want the community to be active.

I don't have a problem with posting and promoting. The BHOD crew is very understanding about people piggy backing off the following that their show and website has. If I owned the production and website I would tell posters to get their own show and platform, but that is just me. I do appreciate the posts it keeps traffic up and you can choose to watch it or not. I do not post much in the bowhunting portion because to be honest most of the questions have been asked and their are many informed posters here to answer the questions.
Just to clarify, I don't mind the other threads and I also bittxh and moan here frequently. My point is, why pick on a member for posting informative videos when there are plenty of other useless posts here? Sometimes it is obvious when someone needs called out, but John isn't one of those.
RR, my intent is/was not intended to be disrespectful to John. I like his tests,. Good valuable info. My " *****" is, I want people who join forums to (play along) on other topics, not just their own. Yeah, I'm not real good with words. Kinda blunt and to the point. Sounds kinda ass_ holeish sometimes I know.
