Big birds under my bird feeder plus a weird guest

    The last few weeks the turkeys have been plentiful. However, they keep the smaller birds away.

    Yes. He hung around for a couple of weeks before he disappeared. The turkeys actually gave him a wide berth. Even when they outnumbered him 25 to 1.

    Plus I didn't know that they ate bird seed.

    Great vids! Getting excited about turkey season opener this Saturday.

    Possums are omnivores. They will eat just about anything. We've got them all over the place here. I even get them in the yard (and I live in town). One of the scariest moments of my professional career was because I unknowingly cornered a momma possum under a house. When they start hissing and show you that mouth full of teeth, I found out that I can belly crawl to safety pretty dang fast!
